How it started
We got tired of the same old promises.
Starise started with a simple frustration: homeowners were being sold cheap lighting systems, confusing pricing, and installs that looked good from far away but rough up close.
So we built the company around a different standard: do it right, charge clearly, and never treat the finish like an afterthought.
Today, our focus is permanent outdoor lighting that looks intentional in daylight and unforgettable after dark. Solar and electrical can support the project, but the core of Starise is still the same: clean work, local accountability, and a home you are proud to pull up to.

How it started
We got tired of the same old promises.
Gabriel spent a large portion of his life in the trades — deep in electrical, building, and homes — and knew exactly what a proper install looked like. Daniel spent his watching businesses sell homeowners the worst product at the highest price and call it a deal.
Together, they built Starise around a simple idea: do it right, charge fairly, and never cut corners. No subscriptions. No cheap 12V systems. No out-of-province franchises with no stake in this community.
Today, Starise is a Calgary-based permanent lighting company — and we're not going anywhere. Every install we do is a home we drive past, a neighbour we know, a community we're proud to be part of.
